The Southport Flower Show returns from August 15th to 18th, 2024, at Victoria Park. This year marks the event’s 100th anniversary and promises to be a memorable celebration. Gardening enthusiasts can also learn from experts like Carole Baxter and Adam Frost, while families can enjoy performances by children’s favorites, such as Justin Fletcher (Mr. Tumble) and Michaela Strachan. In addition to celebrity appearances, the show will offer a variety of activities, including gardening advice sessions, live demonstrations, and entertainment for kids, ensuring there’s something to engage everyone.

Family-Friendly Amenities and Parking Information

The Southport Flower Show is designed with families in mind. The Children’s Zone includes a baby changing and feeding area, conveniently located next to the Grand Floral Marquee. Visitors can enjoy lunch or take a break in designated seating areas near the bandstand and arena. There are ATMs next to the Southport Flower Show offices for those in need of cash, though there are transaction fees.

Parking is well-organized, with spaces available at Princes Park and Birkdale Common Park and Ride for a flat rate of £10 per day. Regular shuttle services will transport visitors from the parking areas to the showground. While dogs are welcome, they must be kept on a lead and are not allowed in the food marquees, except for official assistance dogs.

With a century of history and an exciting lineup, the Southport Flower Show 2024 is set to be a highlight of the summer. Tickets are available now, with free entry for children under 16 when accompanied by a paying adult.
