Catch the final days of summer at Belvoir Castle’s Flower and Garden Show with exciting talks, tours, and expert gardening advice. On 31st August and 1st September, the picturesque Belvoir Castle in Leicestershire will host the seventh edition of its Flower and Garden Show. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Regency Castle’s gardens, the event is a must-see for families and gardening enthusiasts alike.
This year, the show will feature horticultural and floral experts David Domoney and Jonathan Moseley. Domoney, a renowned gardening expert, is excited to engage with visitors, sharing valuable insights to help them on their gardening journeys. “It’s always a wonderful experience meeting people who want to learn more about plants and flowers,” he said.
Moseley, known for his role on the BBC’s “The Big Allotment Challenge,” will also be there to boost the confidence of amateur gardeners. His talks will focus on learning new skills and techniques that can easily be applied at home.
Guided Tours and Local Delicacies Add to the Unforgettable Experience
In addition to expert talks, the show will feature displays by top garden designers, who will present their unique Show Borders. Visitors will also have a chance to get personalized gardening advice from Belvoir Castle’s head gardener.
For those looking to enjoy more than just flowers, the Belvoir farm shop and Aviary Café will offer afternoon tea, cakes, and snacks. While the show continues, guided tours of the estate’s parkland, designed by 18th-century landscape designer Capability Brown, will give attendees a rare look at areas like the vineyard, which is usually closed to the public.
With its mix of expert advice, delicious treats, and scenic tours, the Flower and Garden Show offers a perfect summer escape for all ages. Tickets are available both online and at the venue.
