Jet Fresh Flower Growers is making bold moves in the flower industry with its latest expansion. The company has acquired 35 hectares of prime farmland in Ecuador, marking a strategic step in its 10-year growth plan. This expansion aims to secure a steady supply of premium roses to meet rising global demand.
Mike Black, President of Jet Fresh Flowers, shared his excitement: “With demand soaring, we need to ensure a reliable source of high-quality roses. This acquisition lets us scale up while keeping our boutique charm, sustainability focus, and exceptional quality.”
The farm, previously a dairy operation, boasts untouched, chemical-free soil, making it ideal for sustainable rose cultivation. This move reinforces Jet Fresh’s commitment to eco-friendly farming while increasing production capacity.
New Farm to Grow Exclusive Roses
Jet Fresh isn’t just expanding—it’s growing signature roses. The new farm will focus on varieties like Hippy Psychedelic and VIP Choco Wax roses, sought after by clients worldwide. Its location, just across the Río Alaquéz, ensures smooth integration with existing operations. This fertile soil and its natural water sources will continue to nurture top-tier blooms.
Juanita Coloma, COO of Latin America & Jet Fresh Flower Growers, highlighted the farm’s potential: “This land is a hidden treasure. It has never been treated with chemicals, so we’re working with pristine conditions. We expect this to elevate the quality of our roses while keeping our farming practices sustainable.”
The farm will operate under the Jet Fresh brand, ensuring consistency in quality, management, and production. With this strategic move, Jet Fresh is set to strengthen its position in the premium rose market, catering to the UK and beyond.
